Art of Writing

[Poster Design]
[Installation]

The Art of Writing project features two posters highlighting a collection of objects. The first poster, "The Craft of Writing," explores various methods and tools of writing used across different cultures and periods. The second poster celebrates the beauty of Chinese calligraphy through a collection of scripts. The project also includes an interactive element—an installation and activity designed to bring these posters to life.

Under a 5 day deadline, we were to design the second phase of this project which focused on promoting the two posters through a quick yet effective activity. I designed a handwriting guide to teach people how to draw the Chinese character for "pen." The guide was placed outside public buildings, inviting passersby to visit a designated station where they could practice writing the character. The activity received an overwhelming response and was both fun and engaging!
